PRH (Patentti- ja rekisterihallitus)Finnish Patent and Registration Office; maintains the Trade Register (Kaupparekisteri)

Finnish company data is sourced from the Trade Register maintained by PRH. Search, Lite Profile and Enhanced Profile are supported. The Enhanced Profile is delivered as both a PDF and structured JSON. You get company name, legal form, status, registered address, share capital when available, and legal representatives.

Company Identifiers

The registration number returned in a Kyckr response (companyNumber) is the identifier to use for subsequent profile and document requests.

Activity Codes

PRH returns a free-text line of business description; no classification code or classification scheme is provided. activities[].code and activities[].classificationScheme are always null, so activities[].description is the only populated field, when the source record has one.

Address Format

Finnish addresses are built from PRH’s postal address and returned as a single address of type Registered Address; PRH does not provide a separate address type signal and no other address type is returned.

Capital

When share capital is available, the Enhanced Profile returns totalCapital with:

No per-share-class breakdown is returned; only total capital is provided.

Representatives in the Enhanced Profile include role, an active flag, birth date when available, and name. Representatives are limited to individuals; PRH does not return corporate representatives. Roles are grouped below.

Actual beneficial owner is a role recorded in the trade register’s representatives list, a different data point from beneficial ownership data. EU-sivuliike is PRH’s own term for a representative of a Finnish branch of a company registered in another EU country. Place of residence is not included in the profile.

Implementation Notes

The Finnish registry holds data in Finnish and Swedish. The Enhanced Profile returns English descriptions for legal form and representative roles.

Status code P normalizes to Inactive, but PRH does not provide an English, Finnish, or Swedish description for it.
